This " Privacy Function" requires pushing a button on the inside then it locks the outside lever, which can be unlocked from the outside by using a flat object such as a coin or a screwdriver to turn the button for emergency entrance. Turning inside lever or closing the door will release the button. The interior lever is always free for emergency egress at all times.

Designed for 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" (35mm to 44mm) doors, they fit 1-1/2" to 2" thick doors and come standard with a 2-3/4" backset. These are non-handed commercial door levers, so they are suitable for either right- or left-handed doors.
- Our door hardware & locks come with standard ANSI 4-7/8" x 1-1/4" square corner strikes and 1-1/8" x 2-1/4" square corner faceplates. The backset is 2-3/4" (70mm), the stainless steel Roses are 3-3/8" (90mm) in diameter, and Latchbolt Stainless steel is 1/2" (12.5mm) throw standard. These specifications make our door lever handle lock fitting for 161 door prep & regular 2-1/8″ bore prep.

The heavy-duty door closer features cold-rolled steel, machined and threaded hubs, and locking nuts to securely bolt the chassis to the door, thereby preventing loosening of the lockset even with hundreds of uses per day.
